ZANSHIN -Chiioaki no Asa ni。- (斬心 -千五百秋の朝に。- lit. LINGERING MIND -The Morning of 1,500 Autumns。-) is a 2021 stage play featuring SolidS & QUELL.
Overview[]
The seventh stage play episode in the SolidS & QUELL on STAGE series, and the first episode in S.Q.S' third season. The 2.5D stage play was first announced in early 2021 after Machine Elements Stage： zwei 「Akai Honō」 concluded its final show.
The play ran at Hulic Hall in Tokyo from December 2nd to December 12th, 2021. Like previous S.Q.S plays there are two versions; unlike previous stages though, the setlist is the same between the two versions. The focus characters for this play are Shiki Takamura, Tsubasa Okui, Shu Izumi, & Eichi Horimiya.
Like the past three SQS episodes, the play has its own theme; an SQ cover of the general ZANSHIN theme, originally sung by Haruto Kujikawa of ROCK DOWN.
On November 25th, 2021, it was announced that due to a persisting herniated disc injury Sho Higano, Shiki Takamura's actor, would no longer be performing in the dance live portion of the play. As a result, all new songs that were scheduled to be performed by SolidS will now debut in SCHOOL REVOLUTION Anokoro no Bokura wa. So that the choreography remains consistent, one of the back dancers assumed Shiki's place during SolidS' dance performances. This was also the reason why only one setlist was used rather than one setlist per version of the play.
Synopsis[]
"In the war against the enemy known as 'Regret' the disgraced former general Shiki Takamura, who became infamous due to his demotion for disobeying his superiors, has found himself on the front lines once again.
An unshakeable feeling in his heart motivates him to return to the 'ruined institute', the place where it all began; following the words of someone he can no longer remember.
「……Let's go！」"
