TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTIONs is a fictional 2.5D entertainment agency launched in 2012 by movic. All of the above "about" information is purely fictional & comes from the company's in-universe description taken from the official website.
Initially, the agency only featured TSUKIUTA., a series featuring two idol units themed after the 12 months of the year with each month having their own music producer. The company later expanded with the formation of ALIVE and SolidS in 2015, leading to the new series TSUKIPRO, which has since expanded even further with more new units.
In addition to the units listed on their official "about", TSUKINO PRODUCTIONs in reality is responsible for the releases and management of the units that in-universe are under the Sun promotion entertainment agency; (ZIX & TOBARI).
As of 2021, TSUKINO now manage 22 units in total, including sub-units and those managed by SUNPRO in-universe, as well as one solo artist. For an unofficial general timeline detailing TSUKINOs activities, including when each unit/series debuted, please see TSUKIPRO Timeline.
In-universe, the company maintains at least five dormitory buildings, with units from different series occupying each dorm. The male TSUKIUTA. members along with Rei Sukigawa & Roa Mikaze from infinit0 share one building; the units from ALIVE, SQ, & VAZZROCK all share another building, located a reasonable distance away from the first; and the members of Swiiiiiits! have a third dorm to themselves. The fourth dorm building is exclusively for employees of TSUKINO (i.e. company workers who aren't idols), while not much is known about the fifth and final dorm.
As part of their contracts, it is mandatory for idols under TSUKINO to live in their respective dormitory, this is for both security purposes and to minimize the chances of scandals. Unlike the unit members, it is not mandatory for employees to move into the employee-specific dorm; however, many employees choose to do so as it is cheaper and more convenient than finding their own living space.
