TSUKINO EMPIRE2 BEGINNING OF THE WORLD is a 2019 stage play featuring SolidS, QUELL, Six Gravity, Procellarum, SOARA & Growth.
Overview[]
The fourth stage play episode in the SolidS & QUELL on STAGE series, the first episode in S.Q.S' second season, and the second play overall to be based on TSUKINO EMPIRE. The 2.5D stage play was first announced in 2019 after ROMEO - in the darkness - concluded its final show. The play ran at the Maihama Amphitheatre in Tokyo from September 26th to September 29th in 2019 for a total of 7 shows. Like previous S.Q.S plays there is two versions, each with unique setlists.
Like the TSUKINO EMPIRE UNLEASH YOUR MIND. play from w:c:tsukiuta:2.5 dimensions of dance live TSUKIUTA STAGE TSUKISTA., episode 4 features more than just the SQ units, and includes the members of TSUKIUTA. & ALIVE, marking SOARA's first appearance in any of the stage play series.
This marks the first S.Q.S play to feature its own theme song sung by the stage cast, TSUKINO EMPIRE2 BEGINNING OF THE WORLD, but not the first in the TSUKINO stages overall as the TSUKIUTA. plays frequently have associated theme songs.
＊Note: Within the regular TSUKINO universe TSUKINO EMPIRE is a stage play that the members of TSUKIUTA., ALIVE & SolidS participated in that was first introduced in 2015; QUELL were not featured due to not having been formed yet. This real life stage play is a continuation of the first real life play featuring TSUKINO EMPIRE, taking place three years after the events of the earlier play, and both are based on some of the events of the fictional play (though somewhat modified due to the inclusion of QUELL).
Synopsis[]
Three years after the coup d'etat attempt known as Lost End, the 4th Fleet members, along with the rest of the TSUKINO Empire, commemorate the anniversary and three years of peace. The new head of the council, Queen Musa Natura, presides over the ceremony, and her son Yildiz also attends. But somewhere out in space, a power that has slept for centuries awakens, and with it, new possibilities for the Empire, and the people of Natura, a planet that has not been habitable for centuries due to the UMA.
In order to preserve peace and reach these new beginnings, Prince Shun calls on the 4th Fleet to perform a task that only they can accomplish. As they do, they reflect on the events that brought them together, beginning with when Shiki was chosen by the legendary 1st-rank beast, Suzaku.
