Rei Sukigawa (数寄川 零 Sukigawa Rei) is an idol under TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTION. He is a member of the units infinit0 and pioniX.
Appearance[]
Rei is a tall, black-haired man with bright blue eyes and cat eye glasses.
As of more recent visuals, he is occasionally seen without his glasses on and with his hair more swept back, though still parted to the right.
Personality[]
A calm and intelligent seeming young man with an air of dignity that far exceeds his actual age. He's quite an upright person, with a strong sense of duty and righteousness paired with a compassionate nature.
Rei has a tendency to put the needs of everyone else before his own needs and wants. As such, he is prone to getting a raw deal in certain situations so as to make others more comfortable.
He can sometimes come across as a bit awkward or tactless, but despite this he's generally considered a lovable type of guy.
Due to his generally thoughtful and sensitive personality, when he was still in his former unit he had a tendency to act as a buffer between the other members, especially those with strong personalities that might clash on occasion.[1]
Based on his classy clothes and generally refined way of talking with people, Rei has been said to give off an aura of coolness. However, one of his old bandmates, Takaaki, has said that despite this image he's unexpectedly actually a bit of an airhead.[2]
History[]
At some point in the past Rei was recruited to be a member of an idol unit as a teen. This unit was extremely popular, and also featured Shiki Takamura, Shu Izumi, Takaaki Mamiya & Roa Mikaze.
In late March/early April 2016 the unit announced their indefinite hiatus, resulting in the members going their own separate ways. At some point after this hiatus announcement Rei became a writer for some time.[3]
In 2018 he and Roa decided to form their own idol unit, leading to the formation of infinit0

Takaaki Mamiya - When talking about infinit0's music Takaaki commented that Rei's face and voice give off an aura of coolness, and yet he actually has a natural tendency to be a bit airheaded, creating what Takaaki called a loveable personality gap.[2]

Etymology[]
- In keeping with infinit0's symbology around the number 0 the kanji for his first name, 零, can be read to mean 'zero'.

- When several of the TSUKINO idols were discussing their favorite songs by other units Rei said RIGEL's Baby Love was one of his. He called it a beautiful song with a mature atmosphere, and that he'd like to try singing it sometime such as a cover version. Rei was also the only person to mention something other than music that he highly recommended, talking about the new sports anime called Number 24 that he's recently really enjoyed.[2]
