Nozomu Nanase (七瀬 望 Nanase Nozomu) is an idol under TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTION. He is a member of the unit SOARA where he performs the bass.
Appearance[]
Nozomu is a young man of above average height, with burgundy hair and light burgundy-brown eyes. He initially had his bangs down in front of his face but has recently been seen with the middle of his bangs held back by a clip, possibly to physically differentiate him from Sora Ohara.
In the live action movies his hair color is slightly toned down, being a more reddish-brown color to look more natural.
Personality[]
Nozomu is a quirky, energetic person who likes to tease his friends, but is well-meaning nonetheless.
History[]
Nozomu's father died when he was young, and he was raised by his mother and his older brother, Izuru. As a result, Nozomu idolises his brother and wishes to be a great bassist like him when he grows up.

Relationships[]
Sora Ohara - Nozomu's personality is the same as Sora's in most aspects, with Nozomu being a little quirkier, louder, and weirder than Sora. Nevertheless, they get along pretty well and are almost always "partners in crime" when it comes to teasing Ren.[2] Nozomu is almost always the first person to go along with Sora's decisions (like agreeing to go to the audition right away).[3] The both of them are also not really keen on studying for exams ahead of time. Sora likes having contests with Nozomu when it comes to who can cause ruckus better.[4]
They are on a first-name basis, calling each other "Nozomu" and "Sora-senpai" respectively.
Ren Munakata - Ren and Nozomu were in the same class in high school, the latter often joking around and pulling pranks on Ren.
