Morihito Arihara (在原 守人 Arihara Morihito) is an idol under TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTION. He is a member of the unit SOARA where he performs both vocals and guitar. He is also an office worker in the TSUKIPRO office.

"A young man with a calm and refreshing demeanour. With excellent grades and a beautiful face, he’s extremely popular! Like Sora Ohara, he grew up with parents working in the music industry so he can play a lot of instruments. Before he met Sora, he had no interest in anything other than classical music. Since he’s with Sora a lot, Soshi Kagurazaka and their fans call them “Sweet!” from time to time."[2]
Appearance[]
Morihito is a young male of average height, he has short dirty blonde hair and pale green eyes. He is the only idol in TSUKIPRO (ALIVE & SQ) who has to wear glasses.
In the live action movies his hair was changed from dirty blonde to a light reddish brown color to look more natural.
Personality[]
Mori's personality has, in general, been described by the other members as "motherly". He likes taking care of his friends a lot and dotes on them (especially Sora) most of the time.[3][4]
He's pretty graceful and elegant considering how he grew up with very prim and proper parents. He loves music a lot, specially Sora's music. He's very soft-spoken and calm most of the time, to the point that it's not obvious if he's angry or irritated.[5][6]
He's the type of person that's easily swayed, just like when he almost immediately agrees with Sora's ideas.[3][5] He's also very diligent and is great at studying. He has good grades in school and is extremely popular not just with girls but with boys as well.[7]
He's also a little bit sensitive and sentimental from time to time. This is shown when he cried during graduation at the thought that he won't be in the same school as his friends.[4] He also sometimes feels lonely at his university since he doesn't go to the same school as Sora and Soshi.[8]
To balance out Sora's occasionally scatter-brained tendencies, Mori tends to help him with some of the responsibilities of running SOARA; to the point where Nozomu jokingly refers to him as "SOARA's real leader".[9]

Sora Ohara - Sora and Mori met in high-school. Mori, who's always been involved with classical music, fell in love with Sora's music. They have since been great friends. Since they're classmates and are in the same year, they're together a lot.[10] Mori is a self-proclaimed fan of Sora as he openly says that he loves Sora's music a lot. Whenever Sora writes a new song, he often asks for Mori's opinion on it and will blush and feel flustered when Mori says that he likes it. Soshi even says that Mori spoils Sora a lot.[3]
Mori and Sora are so close that whenever Sora's overwhelmed with emotion (either happy, excited, or sad) he'll run to Mori first, often throwing himself at him (in a manner of a hug). Mori often goes along with Sora's ideas without hesitation or much complaint but when it comes to studying, Mori's quite strict with Sora.[3] When Mori gets a little scary, even Sora can't go against him.[5] Sora's a little jealous of Mori's popularity with their peers but he doesn't let it affect their relationship.
Sora and Mori are on a first-name basis, calling each other "Sora" and "Mori" respectively.
Soshi Kagurazaka - Due to being the two most mature members of the band he and Soshi tend to watch over the other three, though Soshi still sometimes gets caught up in their passion too. The two often have tea together.[11]

Etymology[]
- The name Morihito means "guard, protect, defend, obey" (守) (mori) and "person" (人) (hito).
- His surname Arihara (在原) means "exist, outskirts, suburbs, located in, countryside" (在) (ari) and "field, plain" (原) (hara).
- Arihara has an uncommon reading (usually "在" is read as zai).
Trivia[]
- His catch phrase for 2021 is "Anything is possible."
- Mori does not like to eat raw eggs, while his other dislikes include sad stories, dry fruits, two-faced people, and crowds.[9][11]
- His likes include: music in general (especially Sora's music), walking, reading, dogs, cats, sunsets, morning glow, & Japanese food.[12]
- Mori is an only child.[11]
- Despite this he is seen by many others as the "reliable older brother" figure. He thinks this is due to his level of composure despite his young age.[11]
- When asked what kind of women he likes, he said he likes those who are gentle and play with their clothes or hair when they're feeling shy.[11]
- When he was asked what he'd like to try out now that he's an adult, he said he'd be interested in exploring the producer side of SOARA.[11]
- Mori, Sora Ohara and Soshi Kagurazaka were in the same class in high school, class 2-A.[13]
- He is listed in Sora's phone as Mori, written out in katakana (モリ) rather than using the kanji from his name.[13]
