Mitsuru Hishida (菱田 満 Hishida Mitsuru) is an idol under Sun promotion entertainment. He is a member of the unit ZIX.

Appearance 

Mitsuru has teal hair, with his bangs covering his right eye, and light purple-gray eyes. He has long eyelashes, and is usually seen wearing at least one necklace.

Personality

Makoto Sugai's partner in ZIX.

To his fans, he has a sweet and light-hearted image. In reality, however, his true personality is of someone who is highly ambitious, cunning, and calculating.

He is the type who gets joy from bullying someone when he likes them. The more he likes them, the more he will harrass them. This part of his personality frequently annoys Makoto.

Due to the gap between his stage persona and his real self, he is sometimes called "two-faced" by those who aren't too fond of him, such as Ryota Sakuraba. However, Ryota himself has relucatantly admitted that there are quite a few similarities between the two of them in terms of their personalities.

Kensuke Yaegashi - Comparative to his feelings regarding Makoto, Kensuke's dislike towards Mitsuru is much more obvious, such as when he joins Ryota in teasing him. Though, as time goes on, they now consider each other as friendly rivals.

Ryota Sakuraba - Ryota's dislike for Mitsuru is so obvious that the latter is aware of it. Ryota described Mitsuru as "poisonous" and "two-faced" and has admitted that they have somewhat of the same personality, though he tried to deny it at first. Though at first they had a mutual dislike for each other, they have now grown into friendly rivals.

Etymology

• The name Mitsuru means "full, fullness, enough, satisfy" (満).
• His surname, Hishida, means "diamond (shape), water chestnut, rhombus" (菱) (hishi) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).

• Mitsuru shares his birthday with infinit0's Roa Mikaze.
• A relative of his, Tadashi Hishida, made a debut appearance in ZIX's solo stage play episode, Break It!. It is unknown exactly the nature of their relationship, though it is currently assumed that Tadashi is Mitsuru's father.
