- Silvis, alternatively spelled as sylvis, is the plural form of the Latin silva/sylva meaning forest or woods. Silva/sylva and its plural forms are also used as names, typically in countries with Latin derived languages (Spain, Portugal, etc.).
- When asked about the meaning behind the songs name Akira Takizawa confessed that silvis simply meant forest, and that the songs name was simply a rephrasing of "moon forest", from the name of the RPG game Growth played during the episode.
