Chiharu Sawashiro (沢城 千春 Sawashiro Chiharu) is the voice actor, movie actor, and the previous stage actor for SOARA's Nozomu Nanase from the ALIVE series.
Chiharu was born in Tokyo, and was originally scouted by a talent agency while he was still in high school, but he turned the agency down as he wanted to focus on his club and school activities. After entering university he started to worry about what kind of job he wanted to pursue and eventually was inspired by his elder sister, Miyuki, who had begun a successful voice acting career.
While initially starting out he focused more on stage acting roles, landing his first stage role in 2008, and didn't fully break into the seiyuu industry until 2013. He was originally a freelancer until 2014 when he signed on with Object, thouh he eventually left Object in 2019 and transferred to Stay Luck. His role as Nozomu Nanase was one of his first major roles, but has since gone on to be cast in various prominent roles for popular series.
Within TSUKINO he is unique for portraying the same character across three different media types, being Nozomu's regular seiyuu as well his actor in SOARA's movies (LET IT BE -Kimi ga Kimi Rashiku Aru You ni- & I will., and his stage actor in SOARA's stage debut, TSUKINO EMPIRE2 BEGINNING OF THE WORLD. Initially, he was the only actor to portray one character across more than one medium in total, however he now shares this distinction with Mizuki Chiba who is both Roa Mikaze's seiyuu and stage actor.
