Ayumu Tachibana (立花 歩 Tachibana Ayumu) is an idol under TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTION. He is a member of the unit ROCK DOWN.
Appearance[]
Ayumu is a man of average height with short dark blue hair thats wavy at the tips, with bangs framing his face as well as some falling between his eyes, with similarly colored eyes and long eyelashes.
Personality[]
Ayumu is a serious young man with a strong work ethic and incredible determination. He is brutally honest, and says whatever is on his mind. He is an introvert that gets exhausted after long periods of social interaction, and is bad at handling places with a lot of people around. Ayumu is easily flustered, which makes him the target of teasing by other members, especially Reiji.
Ayumu has a naturally weak constitution, and often overworks himself (although he is unaware of this), and can get frustrated when others don't seem to take things as seriously as him. He is insecure about his capabilities as an idol, and worries he will hold the unit back and not be able to keep up with him, but after constant reassurance from his bandmates, he is steadily overcoming these challenges.[1]
Ayumu has a huge sweet tooth, and can eat several sweets in one sitting. He has a love for all types of sweets, even going so far as to memorize the sweets' wiki page descriptions word for word, and recite them.[2]
Despite being a bit of a tsundere, Ayumu has a soft spot for cute animals, especially cats. Around animals, he becomes much more gentle and relaxed. He is a good caretaker of Vazz and Rock, the dormitory cats, as well as house plants.[2]
History[]
Prior to joining the VAZZROCK Project, Ayumu had a moderate amount of experience in the entertainment industry. Ayumu originally had no plans to debut as an idol, but his sister sent in an application for him without his knowledge. When he was first invited to join the VAZZROCK Project, he did not want to join, but eventually signed on after encouragement from his manager.[1]

Etymology[]
- The name Ayumu means "walk" (歩).
- Ayumu's surname, Tachibana, means "standing" (立) (tachi) and "flower, blossom" (花) (hana/bana).
Trivia[]
- Ayumu dislikes tomatoes, and gets angry when Reiji put tomatoes on his plate without permission.[1]
- Because of his serious demeanor, he is nicknamed "ROCK DOWN'S Warrior Number 1".
- Ayumu has worked as a runway model.[1]
- When their cat, Rock, caught a cold, Ayumu stayed up all night to take care of him.[4]
